Higher education
The Philological School of Higher Education (WSF) offers three-year full-time and extramural undergraduate courses in English philology, German philology, and Spanish philology. Graduates of our school receive a licencjat diploma (B.A.), which certifies that they have higher vocational education and qualifications to work as teachers of a foreign language in public and nonpublic schools. Bilingual studies have become increasingly popular among our students. After completing their studies in The Philological School of Higher Education, graduates can continue their education in two-year graduate courses in any higher learning institution.

Vocational specializations will allow you to acquire specialized skills and knowledge from the following fields:
- translation,
- business English,
- ESL methodology (teaching specialisation).
Knowledge and skills
By choosing licentiate studies in WSF, the students will gain specialized knowledge, which will be useful in their career and will guarantee their gaining and developing skills from the following areas:
- practical knowledge of the English language,
- culture studies of English and German-speaking countries,
- psychopedagogy,
- methods of teaching a second language,
- English and German literature,
- foreign language as an object of study and analysis,
- didactic certification needed to work as a licensed teacher of foreign languages,
- vocational training.
Vocational qualifications
During the course of the three-year study program, our students take part in15 hours of vocational training, during which they validate their knowledge in practice, scrutinize and raise their qualifications as teachers, and also learn about their career perspectives. Upon finishing vocational training, students will have received the necessary qualifications to become licensed teachers of a foreign language and will have had the opportunity to get acquainted with the working conditions in education institutions and companies of Lower Silesia.
