The school secured its position in the region by organizing, along with the Marshal’s Office and the Lowersilesian Education Superintendent and the Lowersilesian Teacher Training Centre, English and German language contests “Dolny Ślązak Gimanzjalista”. Over 21 thousand participants from all over Lower Silesia took part in the following editions of the contest.
With the University of Luton
The Philological School of Higher Education not only constitutes an important element in the development of the region, but also takes part in building the European education area. Since April of 2004, the school possesses the “Erasmus Card” thanks to which our students participate in European education programs as part of the EU projects and funding. An agreement which was signed between WSF and the University of Luton created the basis for WSF students to take part in two-semester studies as part of the B.A. English Language Studies in University of Luton. The two semesters in Luton will be added to the WSF studies.
With the German Philology Institute of the University of Wrocław
The close cooperation we have with the German Philology Institute of the Wrocław University enables WSF students to participate in guest lectures of professors from German universities, while an agreement we signed with the University gives access to the well-stocked IFG library.
With the Higher School of Banking in Wrocław
The several years of co-operation with the Higher School of Banking in Wrocław, and also the backing and patronage of the Municipal Council of Wrocław have resulted in the organization of the annual Festival of English Song for secondary school youths. In the ten-year history of the festival, hundred of talented young musicians have graced the stage of the festival.
