4th Medieval English Studies Symposium
From the 27th to the 28th of November, the 4th Medieval English Studies Symposium, organized by the English Philology Institute of Adam Mickiewicz University and The Philological Higher School of Education was held in Poznań.
Eminent medieval scholars from Great Britain, the United States, Germany, Austria, Holland, Spain, Norway, Finland, the Ukraine, Japan, South Korea, and Poland took part in the symposium, which was dedicated to topics connected to medieval language and literature.
Among the 25 presentations there were lectures delivered by Polish professors, Barbara Kowalik and Jerzy Wełny from the University of Wasrsaw as well as Liliana Sikorska and Piotr Gąsiorowski from UAM. The seminar took place thanks to the financial support of the Ministry of Education and Sport, UAM and local authorities.
