Diploma awarding ceremony

On Oct. 1, 2005 a ceremony was held during which graduates of the Philological School of Higher Education were awarded their diplomas.
During a speech, which marked the end of an important stage in the lives of our students, the Rector of WSF, prof. dr hab. Zdzisław Wąsik, shared his thoughts about the school and students.

  
  
 Graduates who earned the highest grades during the course of their studies and for their BA diploma received a congratulatory letter and the Rector’s award – commemorative statuettes, which quickly came to by known as ET (from the Latin dictum inscribed on the school’s banner: „Exempla Trahunt” which means „Examples attract”) Congratulations! The statuettes were designed and crafted by Wrocław’s own Małgorzata Tyc-Klekot and in their form and colours, they reflect the logo of our school.

  
  
 All graduates received the diploma from the Rector.

  
During the ceremony, the representative of the students took the opportunity to thank the professors for the knowledge they passed on and for the years industriously spent in WSF.

As the emotions of the ceremony subsided, the atmosphere became more relaxed.
