The MA program
The Higher School of Philology in Wrocław conducts graduate studies in English philology and German philology on both a part-time and a full-time basis.
By the decision of the Ministry of Higher Education nr DSW-2-02-4003-7/07 issued on May 11, 2007, WSF has been authorized to conduct MA studies in philology. A positive assessment of the quality of education awarded to WSF in June 2006 by the State Accreditation Committee, cooperation with professors whose academic achievements are recognized nationally and internationally, and a careful selection of specialists conducting the tutorials and practical courses, are just a few of the criteria which WSF had to fulfill in order to be allowed to conduct the MA program.
Organization of studies
The graduate studies last two years (four semesters) and are completed with a MA degree in philology. WSF offers studies in general and teaching specialization on a part-time and full-time basis. Part-time studies take place on weekends (Friday after 3:00 pm and Saturday or Saturday and Sunday). Candidates have a choice of one specialization subject: linguistics, literature and culture studies or methodology of foreign language teaching.
